工业是立区之本.城区工业总量稳步增长,工业结构不断优化,已形成以食品、医药、服装、玩具、机械、电子为支柱的工业体系，并创立了一批如富绅衬衫、威利西服、真维斯服饰、嘉仕伯啤酒、侨兴电话等国际、国内知名品牌。城区工业正以园区建设为主导，数码科技为目标向更高层次迈进。现有大小工业区63个，园区的发展给了城区推动工业化进程更为广阔的思路，城区将努力建设6大经济板块。一是把市区中心区建设成为第三产业发达、幅射带动能力强的经济中心板块；二是依托深圳、东莞和仲恺工业园区，发展壮大惠环、陈江、沥林和潼湖经济板块；三是依托大亚湾石化城和市数码工业园区建设，发展河南岸至三栋的数码科技、石化中下游经济板块；四是发展水口、马安经济板块；五是发展小金口、汝湖的高新技术产业与大型旅游并举的经济板块；六是发展以横沥为中心的北部山区5镇低营商成本经济板块。

Huicheng District put top priority on industrial park in economic
development . There are a total of 63 industrial parks now.
Industrial parks have played an important role in industrialiazation
of this area .Now the Distric is constructing the six economic
module, the first economic module is the center of city as
the center of economic . The second economic module is Huihuan,
Chenjiang, Liling,Tonghu. The third econimic module is the
Henanan to Sandong. The fourth economic module is the Shuikou
an Maan. The fifth economic module is XiaoJinKou and Ruhu
. The sixth economic module is Hengli with other five towns.

and forest resources. There are hills and forest, Meicai base,
sweet corn basem and watermelon base. Five agricultural pillars
are taking shape, including vegetables, animal husbandry,
